The town was established on December 31, 1857 when the supervisors of Waupaca County determined that the Town of Little Wolf would be divided.
We have two lakes, School Section Lake and Cedar Lake, that have public access for your boating and fishing pleasure. If trout fishing is what you enjoy, we have Blake and Whitcomb Creeks. We also have the Little Wolf River for tubing, canoeing, and kayaking! Our town also boasts rich farmland and maple trees for producing maple syrup.
PLEASE NOTE:
The town board will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, May 11 and, if necessary, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. at the Union Ball Park to repair bleachers. See page 3 for notice.
The next town board meeting will be held at the town hall on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 7:00 p.m, immediately following a brief Board of Review meeting to call it to order to reconvene at a later date. More Miscellaneous Information:
If you are considering doing a project on your property that will change the current footprint, such as building a deck, addition, new home or outbuilding, dog kennel, etc. please contact Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Department at 715-258-6255 BEFORE you begin as permits are required. If in doubt, check it out with the zoning department, to avoid extra charges for "after-the-fact" permits.
